I’ve Been “Chinooked”

Earlier today the mailman delivered my bow bolt takedown Toelke Chinook. The bow is 60” 48#@28”, micarta and Bocote 4iser with stunning Myrtle limb veneers. To say I’m impressed with this 50’s style recurve is an understatement. Aside from the typical superb Toelke craftsmanship this beauty is super smooth, very quick and as quiet as any longbow I’ve ever shot.

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

Thanks guys. I know it’s only been 2 days but in my opinion there is nothing not to like about this bow, it’s that good!!

I recently picked up a 58” chinook TD (2 months old) and it is a sweet shooter. Does Dan make a 56” chinook?

I have a 56"er from Dan it is also whisper quiet. My go-to hunting bow and I love it. Best of luck.

Thanks again guys. This bow is definitely a shooter and Dan’s standard grip with the thumbrest is my favorite. Can’t get enough of shooting this bow! My Rose Oak is definitely getting jealous

Fred
You better treat "Rosie" with respect or else you get this
I'll treat her right so divorce her and kick her to the curb

Keefer, "Rosie" is still my first love but every now and then you need some "nookie"
