takedown longbow.
« on: June 30, 2018, 01:43:57 AM »
bee a while since I have posted anything so thought I would throw these out there, providing I actually manage to post the shots. 48# takedown and 64'' ntn. riser is Charcoal actionwood/ Red box and limb veneers are Mackay cedar and Tas. sassafras. Very fast quiet and hard hitting It did come in 3# heavy which may or may not have been due to new bearpaw glass. First two n[attachment=1

Thanks Bob! I bought the plans from Kenny this fall when I stopped by his place. Built the form in January but been busy build bows but this T/D is my next bow, need to get one built before Moose season. I'm sure glad you build one and put pictures up, now I'm excited to get one build. Time to order glass from Kenny and get to grinding lams!!

Badger, I can surely recommend the design, you will be happy! Yellow wood, Kenny stocks the charcoal action wood. My personal favourite  in A /wood.
