Shrew bow string
« on: July 01, 2018, 10:22:18 PM »
Bought a shrew classic hunter bow recently and I would like to get a spare string. The string that is on it is probably not the original. What string material would be best for this bow. It doesn’t look like it has reinforced tips but the string is as small as the one on my Blacktail which is rampage sk99. Would sk99 work? Thanks,Chris

According to the Shrew web site they still come with 450+ strings.  Count the strands in your string...if it's around 8 strands, then it's most likely 450+.  If your bow is rated for "FF" type materials, then you will be fine with pretty much any material.  If you want to stick with what the bow came with, or something similar, 450+, 452X, BCY-X, or X-99.
