Osage anyone?

Just delivered to sawmill 12 Osage logs, going to cut stickers today to begin drying process and take to kiln in a couple months..

Nice haul there, Kenny. That's a lot of lams.
 Do you cut them into 2" thick boards and sticker them to dry?

I'm going to have them cut 2.25" this time. Always some surface checks...

That big gray one on this side was $10 . Was laying in the weeds and I saw it was sound on the big end which is unusual for osage so asked about it and it was destined for firewood .

Have at it Roy. I have a pretty good pile of quarter and flat sawn Missouri osage. Best stuff I've ever seen.

This is good news!  Save some for billets if possible!  For my purposes 1"thick 1.75" wide 36" long.  I'll take some off your hands.
