Installing a clicker
« on: July 07, 2018, 06:10:53 AM »
I’ve had trouble adding a clicker on my bow for my draw length. It either clicks too soon or it doesn’t click at all. Is there a magic remedy for this that I’m overlooking? Thanks

I’ve seen pictures of them installed high on the limbs.  I prefer to install them just above the riser on the non-working part of the limbs.  I think there’s less likelihood of the clicker interfering with the operation of the limbs that way, and it also makes it easier to adjust, because more movement is required to make it click, making the adjustment a little less critical.  I’ve never got it exactly right the first time, though, and always have to go up or down a few notches in the chain after I start shooting it.
