I decided instead of bocote, I would put together an all MO woods forward handle longbow to put in my stock bow blank empty slot...

Walnut/Osage riser with maple accents. Walnut veneers and red elm cores. Think it’s gonna look pretty good ...

Riser back cut, will put lams and glass on form and clamp on top to check glue line with light behind it.

That was a really skinny scrap pc I couldn't throw away! It sat in the corner for years and I finally sawed it up into really skinny veneers. Actually still had saw marks that I strategically placed to be ground off during profiling... I hope...

No plans drawn yet, still R&D on it...
