I wonder what would happen if you just skipped the tip wedges if it would have the tip profile like the R/D ,I wonder if one could be made with no PL or tip wedges or no taper on the lams ?  :dunno: your right to much thinking darn Disease  :goldtooth:

Tip wedges help string angle and lets the limb load a bit quicker on the bottom end. Paralells would make the limb more even all the way out. power lam moves the working part out futher. LET the thinking begin  :biglaugh:

Hey Kenny sense you opened this can of worms & we never go of topic around here 😃 what do you think would happen to the center bend profile if you skiped the power lam ? Im not talking my current build just future designs ?

Heck I can pull it 32" if it don't get hung behind my ear!!  See the DFC chart , it slowly starts picking up weight about 30" look s to me..

That walnut Osage combo is growing on me, good thing I got some Osage riser wood drying in the garage.  ;)

What kind of riser length/power lam you using in that kenny?
