Go to Mountain Muffler Strings site. He is a sponser here and is selling the Hushpuppies for Terry's girls now. Makes a great string too.

hushpuppies are hands down my all time favorite silencer. i liked the way they were made flat, and you just slid them in between the strands . never had one slip. a most superior product!. the ones mountain muffler is selling looks like similar wool, but they are made slightly different.

Same yarn is used. I didn't have the same equipment to be able to replicate the old style. I leave tag ends so you can tie them in if you want. Some do - many don't

I was actually looking for the wool.yarn to wrap the loops.
Steve makes my strings so I will reach out to him.
He is heading to ETAR so shop will be closed for a bit.
