bow limbs

with all the new bow limb materials I was wondering what advantage there is in a given type, for instance what would be the advantage of wood carbon over wood glass or the advantages of carbon foam.
is it smother, faster or could I use a lighter Lb bow to harvest an animal such as a deer or moose ect,.
I ask because I have a 26"draw if I could use a lighter bow and be confident that I had enough Lb for the game i'm hunting it could help me allot as I get older
Thank you

Your probably going to get a bunch of opinions based on personal experiences. I lean more on the limbs design than the materials. Yes carbon does add some zip. Carbon and foam are almost weather proof as well. Some “super curves” may take more effort to make quite. Smooth drawing IMO is agian the limbs design.
All that and yes I am a believer in getting the most out of modern materials.
