A little bow fishing
« on: August 25, 2018, 06:15:29 PM »
The weather was in my favor today to try out my new kayak. The carp seemed to be out and made for a good day of shooting. I was into fish as soon as I left the bank.

The kayak made for some quiet  sneaking up on them.

A successful stalk.

The kayak let me go places a boat has a hard time and I definitely can't wade it.
Ended the day with 4 misses two that came loose and 9 in the boat.

Is that a lake or backwaters off the river?

Nice!  I've often wondered if a kayak would work for bow fishing...answered my question.

The kayak I have is a fishing kayak. I tried it from a sit in and it worked ok. The fishing kayak I got has an adjustable seat allowing you to setup out off the water. Works like a charm.
