Cool picture from last Saturday shooting....
« on: March 26, 2008, 03:55:00 PM »
Fletched up 12 new XX75s and tried some Magnus 3 blade Snuffer 125s on them for fun. Also installed an extra BW quiver we had laying around just to simulate field conditions. I took this pic of my first two shots from 30 paces out, and it inadvertently turned out pretty cool. I just noticed the shadow and bow outlined, etc. Thought it would be worth sharing.

Also a turtle and a squirrel very narrowly escaped shortly thereafter.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Nice, Good job.
“instinctive archery” is more like playing the violin. Without practice you may remember the mechanics, but you will not be a virtuoso.
