Us old gray beard bow hunters

No getting around it,hit 68 this year,the old beard doesn't offer much contrast anymore.pretty much white on white.thank goodness for carbo mask while bow hunting.I'll still wet down the hair and slick it back heading to Kroger's.ya never know when a doe might cross your path.yep,the gray is there to stay.

I have a few more years to go to make it to 68, but my beard has been white for longer than I wish to admit, I just turned 50 on the 21st this month.  I prefer to look at it as snow camo for the late season.   :thumbsup:

No beard, no hair on head. What’s there has been white for a long time now. Will be 73 on Wednesday. Glad to be above ground but a little depressed about not being able to hunt or shoot all day like when I was younger.

No beard, but fortunately not a whole lot of grey hair on top. The reason for no beard is that it, however, is white. That's one reason I use a face mask. I'll be 69 in October.

I'm 66 and plenty of gray. Been bowhunting 60 years, grew up in my amazing dad's footsteps. Still miss him every day. He was such a whitetail guru, it was unbelievable how much he knew before all the experts came up with the tricks of the trade.

My white beard camouflages my white glassed bow.  Neither of those seems to bother deer, however, my shiny head scares the crap out of them.

Well, I can't claim a gray beard (thank goodness) but at 72, my hair has been mostly white for a while--genetics and age. Gotta wear a hat hunting, but no hardship there......

72 with white beard & gray top what's left of it.  Still riding my bike & horse, shooting/hunting 40# bows, fly fishing, and swinging my hammers in the forge.

 At 62 still got a little color left on my head but very little. The beard be white. But I've got a little ways to go to 68.

I just turned 64.  My hair has been white for some time so I grew a beard.  At least that still has some color in it but it is fading fast. :saywhat:

69. Have salt and pepper top and mostly salt beard. Don’t care about the color cuz at least it’s hair  :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

At 55 I feel like a pup in the grey beard group lol.  The beard is almost all white but the hair is salt n pepper.

At 65 my hair is also grey (and thinner)... my problem is my brain still thinks I'm 35 so I'm constantly injuring muscles or joints doing things that even young guys would strain doing - I really have to smarten up!

Good thing that I have absolutely no problems associated with shooting my bows... touch wood, LOL!

And sometimes I wish I lived in whitetail country, those moose keep getting harder to handle every year... and another problem - I still like BIG bears!

What a bunch of young guys (and gal) here. :jumper: I will turn 75 in a couple of months (I can't believe I typed that) and my head reminds me of heaven--there'll be no parting there!

67 come December.  I get asked a lot if I play Santa.  Every year I have young children say "Hi Santa" to me.  I don't have quite enough girth for Santa, but have plenty of white hair and beard.

Pink head on top, everything else is white so it fits in with my beard. Couldn't care less. Gets covered with a hat and mask anywho.  1950 was a good year Dan!
