My new Black Widow PSR
« on: August 31, 2018, 03:49:58 PM »
Just picked up my new PSR from the good folks at Black Widow!  She's a beaut....  black & white ebony,  no red, no white, solid black tips.  50# @ 28". She likes my CE Heritage 250's with 200 gr points at 30"

I sure do like it!

Good luck, shoot straight and God bless,

Rodd

Smart move eliminating red or white trim, looks great.
Lefties are the only ones who hold the bow in the right hand.

I'm not a recurve guy, but these widows are really great bows. As these pictures indicate, they look good, and with their speed and performance, a Black Widow seems to be about as high tech as a traditional bow can get. You just never hear anything bad about these bows.

Thanks for all the compliments. .. it really turned out nice.
Sam, this is my first recurve, but with the riser/handle the exact same as my PL-lll, I figured it wouldn't have much of a different feel.  When I was down at BW ordering it, Ken Beck (former owner) walked in and proceeded to tell me that when they first came out with the PSR, he and his shooting partner accidentally mixed up the PSR and the PL ( they looked very similar ) and shot several targets before they noticed....  that's how close they are!

Awesome bow ! took the leap to a black widow pch recurve this year ( I have many other trad bows as well )and I am extremely happy with it. Easy to tune , shoots where you are looking and fast. I can not wait for opening day !

That is really nice! What length is it? My next new bow will exactly like that in 45# and 60 inches. I shoot those PSRs every time I see Black Widow at a show or shoot.

Blackstick,
It's a 58".   Super smooth, too.  I thought of going with the 60, but I shoot the 58's pretty fair, so I went with it.

Good luck on yours, you won't be disappointed!
