Here are some super-stealthy camo jobs I made for a recent hunt.

The main shaft is an aniline stain, then I stained the crown with Minwax, and sprayed the cap with hot pink enamel. I think it was enamel...I dunno. Some spray can from Home Depot.

Just a Sharpie. I am looking for something finer. Maybe I can get some bowyers to tell me what they use to put stats on their bows.

KILLDEER,  We like to mark up our arrows too.   My son draws a deer hoof print on his arrows.   I just found a super fine sharpie at Wal-Mart and it works great on the POC arrows.

   BTW,  Nice looking arrows.

Mark, are you kin to Ross and Honey?
Those are the quintessential traditional arrows, straight from the Golden Age! Beautiful work there.

These are black analine stain on the shaft and Rit dye on the crown.

Not really stained, as such, but a cool effect anyway! I do these with a blowtorch!  :D

Hey Killie, you may want to try a drafting lining pen.  I have used them in the past and they work really well, you can get them in an assortment of sizes.

Beautiful work, Everyone!
Someday you and I will take the Great Hart by our own skill alone, and with an arrow. And then the Little Gods of the Woods will chuckle and rub their hands and say, "Look, Brothers. An Archer! The Old Times are not altogether gone!"

I agree... how do you apply that camo stain?  Those arrows look sharp!
