I was out chasing pigs friday night, and was stalking up on this hog from the Northeast. Not much wind, and he was very edgy, so I knew that I wouldn't be able to get as close as I liked. I had a good shot at a touch over 20 yards, and all I saw in the dark was my illuminated nock continuing past the hog, and heard the hog run off and keep on going. In the second pic, you can see my string tracker line and the illuminated nock, and how far the hog was able to move before the arrow got there. A clean miss because he moved over a full body length before the arrow got there. More an issue of the noise of the bow, and how wired the hog was, than how fast the bow was. Just more of an FYI post than anything else.
