Roy hall Navajo chief any good ?
« on: September 05, 2018, 01:56:52 PM »
Looking to do a partial trade with a guy for 22 calibre pistol on a Roy hall Navajo chief.

It’s a take Down with yew limbs 58#@28”

Wondering what these are worth, do they shoot smooth?
Any advice would be great

Cheers

Josh

Roy is an excellent bowyer. Never shot his Chief but did have a TD Apache. Very smooth. Not the quickest bow I've had but fast enough for Texas whitetails. Good luck with your trade.

I had the “ Caddo” for 9 yrs. The bow was beautiful to look at and shot lasers. Only problem for me was the bulb style grip ,something I never got used to. Knowing what I know now I would have never sold it!
Roy is a good man and very quiet. He builds  right down here in Jacksonville.
Can’t go wrong with him on any of his bows. JMO.

Roy is one of the finer human beings you'll ever meet, and his bows are very nice.

So I went ahead with the trade and boy am I glad I did.
 This bow is absolutely beautiful.

I’m definitely over bowed at 57#. But I feel confident shooting my 45# enough  I will fix my form to tame this beast over time.

Thanks everyone for your advice

Roy is a great guy. You should make a point of contacting him.Who knows he just might be able to take some weight off that bow for you. Good shooting and be safe.

I’ve owned a number of Roy Hall bows. All were nice bows.
