Book /DVD Recommendations for a beginner
« on: March 26, 2008, 08:49:00 PM »
If you could choose one book/dvd as a guide for a  novice, what would it be?  Just started shooting traditional in Dec/07 and have already bought 4 bows. Black Widow PSR, Bob Lee Hunter, Hummingbird Alpha Male, and a Wes Wallace Mentor. Sold the Widow, and Bob Lee after quickly realizing I had overbowed myself. I shoot the Mentor and Hummingbird daily, but cannot seem to shoot with consistant accuracy from one day to the next. Most of what I picked up has been from reading post on this site, but I'd like to get something to cover all the basics in a book or dvd form for quick reference. Thanks in advance for your input and recommendations.

Pick yourself up a copy of Masters of the Barebow on DVD.  This will give you a bunch of differennt shooting styles that seasoned veterans use.  Then you can try and tweek to your what ever works best for you!!

I agree with Tim. I own volume 1 and 2, and have learned alot from both DVD's.
