Jesse Sperry (23) "Snypershot317" - died in his pregnant wife's arms on the day their first daughter was to be born. A young man with his heart given to God, and his priorities in the right place, working hard to care for his family.  Tragically killed by a driver under the influence of painkillers driving 90 mph, when the driver slammed into the rear of the Sperry family's car at a stop sign.

May God rest their souls.  May their loved ones find comfort and solace in their memories.  May each of us remember that our time on God's Earth is short and so very precious.  Let your arrows fly in their memory and live each day to it's fullest  with God's grace.

There was a gentleman from Idaho that horse packed in whitewater rafters if memory serves me correctly. I believe he went by Hard Tack or Hard Scrabble. Sold him a longbow and he sent me a handwritten thank you note and told me he won the state shoot with that bow. His wife posted when he passed away and wrote how much he enjoyed tradgang. Wish I could remember his name/handle for sure.

Ed Scott of Owl bows. Great man, was full of helpful advise on bow building.
Bowhunting is a passion, not an obsession. Its just hard for my wife to tell the difference sometimes.

The really sad part.......as long as this list is.......it will grow. Live everyday to the fullest.
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Terry, thank you so much for doing this, I have pondered having something like this for years.  A sticky like "Trad Gang Remembers" or something like that.  Awesome.

Sadly the list is long, will get longer, and there are some already on it I didn't know about.

And mentioned earlier as Brad, it was Bob Corbitt, from Va.
