I was lucky enough to take Chris Surtees on a SC alligator hunt, he shot a nice 8 footer. Still have the teeth marks in my aluminum boat where the gator chomped down on the railings! I also was friends with Chris dad Larry, I have not been able to connect back with Larry for years. Larry gave me Chris's Dog tags and his fanny pack, I carry them with me hunting every year...

On June 6, 2016, we lost Kevin Brady.  Kevin was 58 and is greatly missed by our trad group of shooters here in NW Iowa.  Brain cancer took him from us.  I know his wife, 4 daughters, 2 grandchildren, and extended family miss greatly also.  His Tradgang handle was "cyred4d".  Kevin could shoot with the best of them!  I was witness to this many times!  He loved his Blacktail bows.  I shoot with the tab he once gave me as a little remembrance to him.

Bretto (Brett Eisman)and I always went to Snow's bowshot the last weekend of September. Camped out for the shoot and shared the campfire with other shooters. Sure miss a good friend and hunter.
