Photos of an Iron Mountain I just bought!

Here is an Iron Mountain longbow I just bought from a friend, custom turkey call maker Danny Taylor, who had it made in 2006 by Mike Forester. The bow specs out at 58" long, 50# at 28" draw. The limbs are curly maple over bamboo cores. The riser is cocobolo and the overlays and tips are cocobolo. The bow is of course gorgeous and a beauty to shoot! Since I hear Mike is now retired from the bow making business this may have to be a keeper to my collection! Plus he's best friends with my other favorite bowyer and friend of mine, Mike Treadway! Can you ever have too many bows?......No, Never!

Very Nice! This one and the Griffen too, I'd say you are well on your way to a very good year. Enjoy!!

Not to mention Mike Treadway is making me another custom bow in a few months with arrow inlays in the belly of the limbs! Can't wait to get that one either! I told my wife I'll have as many bows as she has purses! LOL
