Great Avatar!

I live on a Reservation and many people here have them in their back yards for cooking, and in the bush for general use.

Coincidently, my neighbours have one in their yard that's almost identical to the one in the avatar.

I have seen a lot of good ones over the years. One that stands out to me is Don Kauss'. I don't remember if he had a tg handle.

No Terry, I know what a teepee is, but what the H is an avatar, isn't it just a picture?

Hey guys - I can't take credit - I am low tech and fall in with the crowd that doesn't know what an Avatar is ? - but kinda know now.
Anyway a friend of mine picked this photo from among hundreds at our SRBZ camp page - and a friend of mine created it for me.
I was impressed and sure do appreciate it.
Matt Quick and I cut the trees - took the bark off - cured the poles for a year.
A group of friends we hosted for a hog hunt helped put it up - as I remember we put it up in under an hour!
Great place to stay and this was our "guest house" for years - a lot of friends would ask to come to our camp and we would say come on and we already have a tent set up for you.
Drafted very well - warm in cold weather - cool in warm weather.
I ran a small woodstove inside the fire ring with a short stack - worked great.
Very functional - and had a cool factor no doubt - seems like every single person who came to our camp would see the Tipi and had too check it out!

Good Times!!!!
