Located my target. This will be an “urban hunt”. I live 30 minutes from town, but most of the groundhogs near where I live have been wiped out by a combination of coyotes and local farmers. A few survive by burrowing under barns and outbuildings.
However, I’m a Pastor and the church sets on 6 acres. We have had structural damage in the past due to these city dwelling groundhogs. Most of the damage is in our drainage system. Yesterday I seen one that survived our eradification efforts last year. I personally took 5 off the property. Our neighbor works on the local population with his hunting equipment.
The target groundhog has burrowed under a concrete slab near the corner of our main building. He was out and about at 4 pm yesterday. I’m currently sitting in a pop up blind watching for him to exit his “den”.
