Thank you Rodd & Kirk,

Yea, more hurry up and wait and since it's in God's hands, time will tell... :dunno:

I keep trying to tell myself, "Whatever will be, will be!"

Be another month till I find out about this different type PSA that measures Free and Bound PSA markers...

Se le vie... God's will, not mine, but surely do appreciate the ongoing prayers for healing...  :saywhat:

So...the beat goes on...and on, and on... :)

I posted I called to see if on cancellation list and got an appt for this past Tuesday...so, TODAY, Friday I get a call very early saying my PSA was back....gal proceeded to tell me it went UP to 7.X (don't recall exact as it was early and I was doing my stretching on floor);

She didn't know much and was sorta worthless; She did say I could opt to get biopsy as the incidence for cancer given the test was 66%!

She was again pretty worthless to share information; she never even heard of the FREE vs. bound PSA reading! :(

I opted to take a few minutes and think on the situation and called the nurse for to see if I could get the ultrasound AND the Biopsy on 11/29, my next appt...

I found I could get both done on 11/29; Also found out I don't need a driver, which is good.  Go in on that Monday to see a video and get "clean out" instructions etc, then back Thursday for biopsy...

Time will tell, but at least we're moving ahead... I inquired that if it was cancer and it's takin a month to get next appointment, how's that work...I was assured that I'd get quick next appt and the wait was cause I was new... pfffttt...Se le vie...In God's hands!

Keeping you in my prayers Doc.  Try to stay positive and move forward with it.  I know all to well how frustrating it can be when dealing with office staff, almost robotic, reading from a script, with no deviation when you raise a question.  Praying that all will work out for you when you finally get real answers.

Keeping you in my prayers nightly, doc.
Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

Thanks, Guys! :)  I'm trying to be Cavalier about it all, but in truth, it colors one's view a touch... :knothead: alas, it's outa my hands... Whatever will be will be and all the fretting in the world won't change it but you folk's prayers might...so I thank you one and all for all your prayers!!! MUCH, MUCH appreciated!

I read recently about that old wisdom, that God ALWAYS answers prayers; but sometimes His answer is NO, or "take time to GROW, or, "GO SLOW" and sometimes indeed, He does reply GO!

I'll know more early December as the biopsy is 11/29 and it takes 4-5 days for results... then some decisions based on if or if not; how fast growing if its a positive, then a myriad of choices as to treatment (again, based on whether its fast or slow growing type)

Not much to do, till Dec and endure the biopsy!

But, thank you for the continued prayers... be something if it proved to not be cancer! :)

I'd owe that to God and you prayer warriors!

POsted this on the original as an update but since so many of you have posted and PM'd me, I wanted to do my due diligence and keep all you grand folks posted on progress...

UPDATE: so today I Had to go in to find out how to prep for this Thursday 11/29 afternoon's Ultrasound and Biopsy... not too bad... Couple of fleets, I can eat breakfast day of procedure and then that afternoon, the deed is done.  Then supposedly in a week after that, I know something. Whoopee!   :knothead:

Thanks, Warriors!

:)  I"m positive that whatever will be, will be-- and it's not in my hands... :)

The pre antibiotic is pretty scary stuff, but I've had my share or problems with medications prolly due to my other allergies, but we'll see... What we will see...

Should know something within a week or 2 after Thursday...

Thanks, Keef!

Survived the procedure but dang I'm sore! I heard them click that needle that shoots up in there like 24 times but he said 6 to a side so I guess a sphere has 4 sides...

Crikey...

Should get results by mid week next
