Thanks, RON...

Got the CALL today, but not what I hoped to hear...it's prostate cancer but the one nurse told me last week at Biopsy if Doc calls its cancer, if woman calls, it's not but I got call from gal nurse and she only would say it's cancer, not if aggressive or slow growing, nothing!  Have to wait for Doc Appt on 13th... :(

Dave,   Haven't kept up with TG for many years due to various things - including ongoing health issues, but I will remember to keep you in prayer and ask the Lord to give you daily grace, strength, and peace in whatever may be around the corner for you.

My middle child had stage 3 non hodgkin's lymphoma a year ago and decided to only go through half the recommended treatments.  Scans said he's cancer free 7 months ago, but we are very unsure of what his future health will be as he's only 24 and very susceptible to various cancers.  Praying the Lord uses it to wake him up. :)

All the best to you!  Swanny

Dave I am  so sorry to hear this. I just can't believe the Doctor did not call you. I think sometimes they just do this so often that they forget to have compassion and don't realize the consequences to the patient. I would be putting a call into the Doctor. Prayers are still up for you. Never ceasing.

Swanny, sorry to hear you've had struggles... never got to meet any of your family and you were such a young man when last I saw you, you were struggling with Lyme as I recall...

I still have that console you built and use it daily...

Lowrider, Doc's are so protected, you never get to talk to them; I don't want to get the male nurse in dutch by reporting HE said if it was cancer I'd get a call from the Doc, but instead I got the call from the female nurse who is very nice, but wasn't allowed to say jack...now to just wait and pray..

Thanks to all for the prayers.. One devoitonal I read said that all prayers are answered, but some are just NO, or GO SLOW, some are answers to GROW in faith more and some are YES...

I guess this one was one of the other options... :o :saywhat:

I don't recall being asked to "vote" on this so I have to accept whatever is to be... not easy not knowing, but I will try to stay focused...

So sorry to hear the diagnosis.  I would definitely call back, and ask that the doctor return your call, that you have many questions and would like a little clarification before your appointment on the 13th.  That's a lot of time to dwell upon a topic as sensitive as this, before getting a few answers.
I will continue to pray for you, for strength, health, and resolution.

Keefer,

That's all there is left to do... wait and pray and hope...:)

Albert,
This Doc didn't avoid calling me for no reason... and since he's the ONLY game in this area unless I drive 90 minutes in another direction, I'd rather not tick him off, since he might be the one to operate or do some procedure on a sensitive area...

Waiting is not my strength, so perhaps it's also the Good Lord's way to teach me something missing in my character...AND, it isn't like back up NE where there were many options to docs/specialists living here in more remote areas

Lunatic11, thank you, too.  Prayers are all that I got right now and they are much appreciated... :)

Doc, you are the top of my list right now.  Worrying over an extended period of time brings about its' own issues.  I pray that you do not dwell upon that phonecall.  Also, I pray that your doctor has more compassion for his patients than what you may think.  If he gets annoyed when patients want clarification, he should re-read and retake his Hippocratic Oath.  "I will abstain from all intentional wrong-doing and harm."  I would not be too happy if I ever feared my doctor.  I totally understand your situation, and pray for you my brother.

Good memory, Dave, it was Lyme and Babesia in the late nineties.  Went for a wild ride through fourteen different docs with the first eleven being pretty useless.  I have very low level of trust in mainstream docs unless they DON'T play the health insurance games and require you to pay out of pocket - then I'll listen attentively to them.  :)

One thing you might want to research and avoid are the EMF pulses from things like cell phones, wi fi, smart meters, cell towers, power lines, etc.  It will help your body, on a cellular level, to be able to fight off any cancer.   I went through a period of several months of insomnia - only getting one or two hrs at most a night, some spells no sleep.  Wasn't stressed, blood work was fine - ended up I put the wi fi on a timer that shut it off at night, got my phone out of my room and put it on airplane mode at night.  Within several days I was back to sleeping 6 hrs every night.  Those frequencies can interrupt your brains own electrical signals.  Got rid of wi fi altogether and got my oldest to hardwire all the computers.

Good info here - this lady did her homework:

Doc, Sorry to hear about your diagnosis, you are in my prayers nightly.

Tomorrow "around" 4 pm I learn "something".... Time will tell... I do so appreciate prayer, both for the outcome and for me to keep my perspective and show Grace!
