McCullough Griffin FF?

I've been looking for one of these for a long time, and I finally recently acquired a used 60" McCullough Griffin that is not only beautiful, but it is also a sweet shooter. I'm wondering though, is the Griffin compatible with skinny, fast flight strings? Thanks!

John put skinning strings on his bows but hated fast-flight, he used 6 strands of 450+
Looks like someone took the leather grip off the bow

Good find! Awesome bows, I love John's bows and have several. Hope to find one shorter than 60" someday but being a lefty.....it's tough!
