Just weird shadows in the picture. I don't see anything wrong with it. Great deer!

Great buck, congratulations! I have seen that happen before with trail cam pictures. Gene Wensel sent me a trail cam photo last year of a deer with no head.

I'm not looking to down play anyone, I'm NOT in that business. That is a great buck like I said..... I DO however see some screwed up looking pics.  They look weird and different length shadows, seams, and some things pixelated different than others.  And agree, Iphones do take great pics, I don't have an iphone but I've seen enough of Guru's to know.

I took a pick of my antelope at dawn once and the sky was pixelated in a strip just below the dark sky where it started to turn orange....strange....never seen it again like that.

Again, I am NOT knocking anyone, or looking to downplay anyone.  Looks like some one might be retaliating at me from another thread today.  Someone that was downplaying someone or a method themselves?  C'mon Man...Need to think about that.

Texas Trad.....

I wish you did have better pics, for you sake and your photo album.  If you do have a really good pic of this buck somewhere, email it to me and I'll fix you up something with it.

Some iPhones take great pics, and some do not! I have an iPhone 6 that will not take a pic worth using at nighttime with the flash. Daytime pics with the same phone are just fine. Sometimes at night, if there is enough light in a well lit area, I can get a nighttime pic to work, but most times I have to have someone else take pics on their phone, or drag out my regular camera.

The truth is the photos I posted are not great.  I admit that.  I am not a great photographer.  It was 11:00 pm, I was by myself and I had to get that buck skinned, meat cooled and the cape ready for the taxidermist. It was dark outside and I had to use the timer and the flash.

Terry, you are the owner of this site and i would expect you of all people to follow the rules of the site which are to show respect to the other members. Calling the authenticity of my photos into question, as you did in your post before you erased it was not respectful. Same for you Roy and Friend.

Paul killed a beast with trad gear and we should all be building him up. Brother is a solid guy and I'm proud to call him a friend. Let's get his thread back on track fellas.

Tex Trad....I did not question your pics, I just stated facts that you have...that the pics were screwed up.  I didn't realize at first that your pics were at night.

I 'cleaned up' your thread to get it back on track so it would flow better and any 'questions or confusion' wouldn't linger. Sometimes I just can't win no matter what I do.  Funny though, one guy accused me of doing the exact same thing he did only hours before.

Anyhow, that's a dandy buck sir.  And truly sorry for anything I did to taint your thread...it was not my intention.  My offer still stands....send me a good pic.
