My buddy shot one like that a few years ago. We called him up-down. He was a little bigger than that one so he had him mounted. The taxidermist said the skull was actually broken. We watched that deer for two months and he seemed fine. Deer are tough!

I might have one similar to that one in my area next year. Drilled the little guy right in his right antler couple weeks ago, he cleared out like the devil was chasing him so I don't know if I did any real damage or just grazed off the side.

Been getting pics of this guy forever.  He has always been goofed up.  He is the boss out here now, nobody messes with him.

I have read before that some deer develop weird racks following an injury during the time the antlers are growing.
