Patience paid off
« on: November 05, 2018, 04:25:53 PM »
I got started in traditional archery as a little kid but didn’t stick with it through the years. A little over a year ago I bought this recurve and have worked at shooting instinctively since then.

Yesterday afternoon, on a beautiful fall day, the Lord blessed me with an opportunity, and I made good on it. This is my first deer with traditional equipment. I’m very thankful for this animal!

The shot was at 20 yards. I got both lungs, and the arrow was stuck in the ground on the other side. She ran 50 yards, and I heard her crash.

Fantastic she’s a real looker. That Predator is doing good to shoot 340’s even at full length. I got to shoot one many years ago in my first trad year. Congrats Brutha!
