Okay gonna quite hoggin Kennys  thread. And hope this thing works out. Us retired guys need something to do  :biglaugh: Anyhow this limb is real close to another design I got with some tweaks. Moved the string grooves further up the hook and gonna try the super lam on the first one. Took a swag at the stack. WE will see. Maybe get one glued Mon.

Going with the one on the left.

I like your idea of the working curve watching this one with great interest , are you going to use the standard supper lam & .001 taper total ?

Did the dry run today and got one under pressure right now. I used zip ties to hold everything in place. Got about half pressure and cut and pulled the ties. Things stayed put well. We will see tomorrow. Dont know about the stack. rather it be 40 than 60  :scared:

I like that riser hold down.
I think I’m gonna incorporate that into my band forms instead of clamps.

Got it cleaned up and blanked out. Got lucky the tiller with the blocks is even. Maybe make 30@28. Yeah Roy was hopin for 40 or 45. Front overlays curing now. The brace in the pics is a little over 8 in. dont think it will need that much.

Back it with sinew.

That will bump up the weight.

Good one Roy. I guess looking at the pics you can see where the power lam part of the taper ends pretty good. Gonna be interesting to see how this one shoots. May just be feathers up in smoke---then I wont need the sinew   :dunno:
