Mine would never last that long. Turkeys are one of my fav wild meats along w bear and moose. Turkey at least around here aren’t big enough anyway w 20 lbs being a larger one.

Might try but not with a bow. I'm visiting family who only have a couple acres. Can't take the risk of the turkey running off to die in somebody else's yard so it's air rifle sniping for me.

We are doing the one I shot opening weekend this weekend at the ranch. First turkey with a bow for me and first off our ranch so we are going to eat it there.

My last turkey in on the menu for this week. Actually, I cut it into golf ball size chunks and marinade it over night in a garlic/herb sauce. Next take each piece and lay a slice of jalapino on it then wrap with half a slice of bacon. Push a tooth pick throught the entire chunk to hold it together. Cook on grill, until done - about 10 minutes, turning over. They are really great.
