Things are Picking Up!
« on: November 20, 2018, 08:10:02 AM »
I went out on the public here near home to retrieve some cameras before the orange army shows. Well they already helped themselves to two out of the 4 cameras I had out..... :banghead:
Anyway I found some hot sign under a few Nutall oaks that were dropping. I decided to hang and hunt. It started raining not long after I got setup, no I hadn’t brought my tree umbrella  :knothead:
Around 4 the rain subsided and about 15 minutes later I hear footsteps coming through the water filled bottom. A group of hogs came in and this big sow gave me a perfect shot at 13 yards

Great hog, congrats. I don't trust cameras on public land anymore unless it's early like July.
Relax,

You'll live longer!

I don't understand the mindset of thieves.   Taking someone else's property is just so . . . unfathomable to me.  Wth?

I agree, I just don’t understand it  :banghead:
Both cameras were 10-12’ up a tree  :dunno:
I just made a new rule for myself, no cameras left out after November 1st. I’ve never had one stolen before then which is close to gun season
