Hobart longbow

Hi I just picked up a longbow marked Hobart. It's 76# @ 28" 67" long. Does anybody know anything about the maker as I can't find any info. on it. Thanks for any help you ca give

That just might be Gene Hobart out of Windsor NY.  He quit making bows many years ago.  I think he is in the custom home building business or at least was.  He also is quite the blade smith having studied under his brother in law Jay Hendrikson who apprenticed under the grandfather of all blade smiths' Bill Moran.  I watched him make a longbow in a day from glue up to out of the form and trimmed out and spraying the finish.  They were good shooters and he sold some through Creekside Gun Shop.  They are a mild r/d design if I recall.  keepem sharp
