Looking for suggestions on warm hunting pants. I have some Kuiu ultra down pants and there just way too noisey. What are you guys wearing?

Mostly stand hunting

I use cabelas, fleece bibs, love them for still when really cold.

Wool base, wool mid layer, USGI pant liner, LLbean wool, or predator stealth fleece pants. Tops pretty much the same, except swap Asbell jacket for LLbean. Good for around 0-10 degrees in the wind. Add layers/bibs when it's colder.

I bought wool German Army surplus pants from Cabela's I believe. I think they were $9.95 for 2 pair back in 2006. They are very well made and comfortable. German soldiers must be tall and skinny so buy them a little big. I think the ones I have had about a 2" to 3" waist adjustment.
Sportsman's Guide may also have them.

Artic Shield bibs if it’s cold. I were them over military surplus BDUs with layers. I like the ones that are good and broke in. For the layers  I go with Cold Pruff long handles from Tractor Supply (they have a good ratio of merino wool) and a good grade military waffle layer.

Gray Wolf Woolen lined bibs for me. Dead quiet and warm because they block the wind. They are not inexpensive but worth it

I wear Clearance pants from Academy.  The patterns that work for me in the Texas brush, but are not the popular brands or patterns.  Last year got five pair for the price of one and a half.  We don't have to worry too much able cold down here though.  Is so I just put some light weight polypro underneath.

So far I’m finding them to be pretty comfortable, warm and quiet. The sizing is about spot on for wearing an additional thermal layer if you’re an average build person. I have the large pants and jacket and I’m 5’9” and 190lbs. The waist would be tight if I was a bit heavier but the xl size pants and jacket would be too long. If I put on weight I couldn’t do the next size up, I’d have to do the old rubber band on the button trick to get a little more waist room. They aren’t cheap but they are far from the crazy Sitka brand pricing. I think I paid $220 for the pants and jacket at Cabelas.

I’m using Bemidji woolens pants. Quiet, durable, and warm. I wore them early season and the wicking property of wool kept me cooler than cotton pants despite being heavier weight wool. Also the plus of not holding odor.

What Ray said X2.  I have had two sets (out grew the first set) of the Hidden/Gray Wolf, they are by far the warmest clothing I own or have ever worn.

I picked up a pair of the Kryptek Vellus fleece pants right after Thanksgiving for a good price.  I have worn them when temps are in the 30's here and they are warm.  I liked them so much I added the jacket.

For most of this past season I wore the First Lite North Branch pants with wool longjohns--cozy down to about 20 and windproof. When it got REALLY cold I went with my Sitka Fanatic Bibs which are amazing but they are not for moving around much. The North Branch pants are so comfortable to wear and walk in they are really the most versatile hunting pants I've ever owned. They aren't making them anymore but you can find them discounted which makes them affordable, moreso than the Sitka stuff.
