I got dressed to hunt yesterday, put on my east German wool pants and couldn't button the front top button. This is a first, I have kept my weight stable for years. 7 weeks ago I twisted my ankle to the point that I couldn't do my normal 10 miles a week walking or any walking for that matter, other issues kept me from lifting weights at the gym. I am only up to 3/4 mile on the ankle so far, it is going to be along recovery.
My buddies church has a huge fish fry on the first Saturday of the month that I really enjoy, it is coming up this Saturday. I will go on a low carb diet the next day, if I can keep my resolve I can drop pounds like a rock. The problem is this is the most boring diet on the planet, you have meat broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage one day and cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower and meat the next day.
Last time I followed this diet years ago I shed pounds very quickly, was never hungry and slept better than I ever did did but was bored to death with meals. It also took a lot more preparation for each meal than going out to eat or ordering a pizza.
