I made some traps last year. They did not get but one bee. But his year they are doing good.

The bees don't just make a hole, they make a hole and take a right hand turn and may go several feet down a timber, then the woodpeckers go after the larva that the bee left in the tunnel and you end up with structurally compromised wood.

Making a new form My mom and pops hardware store been bought out. Used to get  plywood custom cut. Not now though. So at Menards they got these ACX handi panels. 2x4. They measure exactly .750 += .010. So.I got two of them.I cut mine in half. For bandsawing. So they work well.

Couple update pics after advice from y'all saved this one from the bandsaw when I was having trouble keeping the string on the belly of the bow when strung...THANKS AGAIN! It's shooting great! Hope ya like

got her all sanded and ready for wood grain filling or just finish...IDK yet

That looks great Jeff.
I would recommend grain filling. You’ve put this much work in the bow....why rush now?  If you haven’t yet, try grain filling with super glue. It is quick and easy sanding.
