Rich, is that the Sheoak? I had never heard of it before your post about it. Native to Australia, but that don't look like it came from down under

Yes... It is Sheoak... Here is a pic of a riser with some heartwood... The wood varies in color... From blonde to browns and darker with red in it...

I got a big package from kenny it included these riser blocks the wildfire , its very cool, cant wait to try it & coffee got enough material hanging around to make about 50 bows just no time this summer !
