Boxed up a pc of glass for Brad, since the postal service smashed the box I sent first time.  Fortunately no lams were harmed in the incident and  the other 3 pcs of glass made it out with minor injury...
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Got most of the prep work done for a glue up. A little bit of finish sanding on the ramps and fades, and I should be able to glue tomorrow evening.

And Kenny’s customer service is A+

I built a sawmill a while ago. A friend gave me a nice clean oak log so I fired it up on the weekend.

Got some nice boards out of it. Need to set and sharpen the blade...

Yeh sawmill would be nice. May be a bit too much for old fellars like use Roy  :bigsmyl:
Anyhow I got new PC with 10 on it yesterday. Custom build for less than $300. Liking it so far.

Ditto on the sawmill! Homemade awesomeness
Would not do me much good though, I'm in a hardwood desert.

Just what I was thinking, Flem.  Not much use for cottonwood in a bow.

Bug killed lodgepole pine boards are going at a premium price around here for wall coverings. Even in hardwood deserts there are opportunities. Some of that lodgepole pine I saw would make good bow back veneers.

The lodgepole makes great arrow shafts but I don't have a saw that can work it.  Goes well in the fireplace too.

A sawmill would be cool. I saw one a guy made with car tires and wheels to run the blade. Wish I’d taken some pics of it ...

Brad will fix any mishap...
