I've thought about doing that on my table saw, but was worried about all the super fine dust they produce.
My saw has lame dust collection.

I have one for my table saw. Works good. Mine is used in the driveway so dust collection is not a thing.

I was playing on the computer a couple of days ago when I heard a crack followed by a crash. Naturally I knew something had fallen and I hoped it didn't get my shop, it didn't.

5 years ago I would have enjoyed turning this monster into firewood, today, not so much. It is almost 36" across the base.

It is 95 today, no tree cutting will go on. I will probably use the loader on my tractor to get the top out of my yard and haul off the bigger stuff one stick at a time after the weather cools off. It broke off several trees in its path as well.

Time to take the summer garden out and put out winter greens; first the tomato cages, then the plastic, okra, lots of fence posts and it is ready to till. I made one last picking before I dismantled things.

Got egg on my face on this one, my tractor quit, would restart and run a while and quit again. I was sure it was a safety switch and called the dealer, they sent a guy out to get the tractor. It turned out to be out of fuel, the display is kinda' week and I was looking at the wrong set of bars thinking I had half a tank, DUH.

Besides going to work..

I spent an hour in the garage this evening working on my bow that I got from Two Tracks Outdoors. It's a "u-finish" bow that needs a good bit of work to make it truly functional. I got a good start on the handle tonight. I'm pretty happy with the way it's looking so far. I'm hoping to spend another hour on it tomorrow night.

I can't get pics to load. I don't have a hosting service and not looking to obtain one.

If ya took them with a cell phone, they will be too large a file size.

Cell phones take humongous size pictures.

Go into the camera setting of the phone and chose the smallest size picture it will take.

Then try again.

Funny story...
Back when I was younger (and thinner) I was a Park Manager level IIII with the Oklahoma Parks Service. This came along with a law enforcement commission through the State Protective Services Division. We were considered an "urban" park since the whole thing was in the Norman city limits but the park had almost 2,000 wooded acres and about 100 miles of shoreline around the lake. We were bordered by private and tribal land. Sometimes folks would "plant gardens" on our side of the fence and grow some not so legal plants.

As one of the few State Commissioned LEOs in the county my Rangers and I would get coopted to help the State Bureau of Narcotics when they flew the area by helicopter. A pretty cool opportunity. One year I heard a story about a team that was running their part of the grid when the pilot winged-over and said on the radio that he thought he saw a grow. We did this in the hottest, driest part of the summer since the grows were usually watered and showed bright green.

I guess the whole incident ended up with the LT deep in a conversation with a little old lady and trying to explain why heavily armed men were pulling up her okra plants... with OKRA PODS ON THEM. OOPS!

That was many moons (and pounds) ago... good times.
