I have 3 Super Ds, I draw 29" and shoot 12 to 1 arrows through mine. On the 64" bow I like 6 3/4", on the 66" 7" and on the 68" 7 1/4". That said, the world doesn't stop if I change the brace height a fair bit. The Super D is exceptionally well mannered and very "forgiving".

Should have clarified: 6 3/4 on a 68" super D but it does just fine anywhere between 6 3/4 to 7 1/4 shooting carbon express heritage arrows cut to 31" with 250 gr up front. I'm pulling 55# at my draw.

I think it'll vary with bow length. Check the website, it'll tell you, and Toelke's are a breeze to tune.

David,
Between 6 3/4 and 7 1/2. I wouldn't suspect you'd go out to 7 1/2 but as you know, Dan and Jared's bows are easy to tune. Throw some bare shafts through it. I usually use the same carbons for my equally weighted Whip. 64" Whip and 68" Super D. They bare shaft close enough. Both are 53@30. Brace on my D is 7 and 7 5/8 on the whip. I set the nock height on my Apache tillered D and whip to 5/8 for 3 under shooting. Ymmv of course.
Also, Dan's strings are so light, they should help squeeze as much energy as possible out of those limbs. Love those super D bows. They are proven killers in this house.
Did you get a new super D?

I shoot my 62” super D at around 7” but it shoots just as well at lower or higher brace heights so I don’t have to worry much about it. I rarely need to adjust it even with different types of arrows… it is a very quiet and forgiving bow. When you get the strings from Dan along with the bow he also sends the recommended brace height range for that bow. For the 62”, the range he sent me is 6 5/8 to 7 1/4. That may be different than longer versions. You can call Dan or write him an email and he will let you know for sure.

New to me, I'm really not a D-Bow guy but I seen a deal on a 2 piece that I couldn't pass up. I've got just about every model bow that Dan makes except the Troll and if I ever see about used one of those in my wife's weight range I'll probably buy it. My draw length is too long for it or the Pika.
