3Rivers Archery English Longbows?
« on: January 03, 2019, 11:52:49 PM »
I’m not entirely sure this is the right place to ask this so I apologize if I’m in the wrong. I’m looking for a decent English longbow and was hoping to get some opinions on the Grayvn Traditional Bows offered by 3Rivers Archery... both the horn nocked version and without? Essentially I’m looking for opinions on the quality and performance? I usually shoot with a modern recurve with a shelf so this would be my first foray into longbows and shooting off the knuckle.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know anything about the English longbows sold by 3 Rivers, but John Strunk of Tillamook OR is an acknowledged master of making Old English longbows and other self bows from yew and other types of wood.  I have met with him at tournaments and bought several bows from him over the years, and he is first class.
