In the starting blocks but the gun didn't go off!
« on: January 22, 2019, 12:42:15 PM »
Well, that was disappointing...

Got in there to start my treatments today, had to watch a 14 minute video that didn't totally follow their process...

....Then learned that I would NOT start treatments today.

I got the markers made on my body but no treatment...once they do the "scan" (today) then... they study it, decide on the treatment plan, dosage, etc and then in a day or so I get a call to come back and start! :(  So my projection for March 14 will be extended by however long it takes to get started...

Sounds like they're being thorough but sure are a lot of false starts... Anxious to get crankin...

I think I'd rather them study now and get it right than to have ineffective treatment. .... I know you're all ready to get it started, but patience is the key...

Still praying!

ed, but patience is the key...

Still praying!

LOL>..a patient patient!  That is great!

I too am happy they're willing to invest rather then fly by the seat of their britches, but you're right, I am anxious to get it started...given how much time they took to DESCRIBE the treatment prior, it'd have been EZ to say that first session would be as it turned out and lower the disappointment...

Communication..like eggs...have to be fresh to be good! :bigsmyl:

Dock with me they put the markers, then I went back for a trial run and then had to go back for the first treatment. I went thru this same procedure for the first 39 treatments. Then 6 chemo treatments. Then back thru the whole marker process again for the next 24 treatments. Then all of the Doctor visits and lab work. 23 miles one way. Don't know how many miles I logged.  It will be over before you know it. Still sending prayers your way.

Sometimes you gotta scratch your head and wonder.  But, this is the way it goes.  The plan is laid out and it will happen.  Continued prayers Doc.

Thanks, Brother,

It was my choice to go this route and they did call back TODAY late afternoon to tell me to come in to start tomorrow at 11AM...

All comes to he who waits...and sometimes waits some more!

Thanks, li'l brother, Keith...much appreciated.  Nice to be getting after it, but the outcome is in HIS hands, not the medicos now and forever, Amen!
