Have to agree with the Sitka Fanatic bibs-- best combination of warm and comfortable I have found, way warmer than wool and weatherproof too. I love the idea of wool, and the performance in damp weather, but the windproof thing is key to staying warm and wool just doesn't do that.

I have bee very very happy with my Asbell unlined and my Grey Wolf lined.

I am a huge advocate of wool, as I've been  In the wool industry for years in a different faction, but none the less....

In the 35 years  Of being in-the-wool  Industry um have word that manhas attempted for years to duplicate wool but can't. Why? Because God-made wool  And man cannot  Compete with Him.  And it's QUIET.

I can't tell you how many times we've come in behind so called latest and greatest man made yada and replace it with wool.   We could always backup our claims of performance and durability.......always.

No other fiber is going to keep you warmer if wet...
Sorry don't talk to me about it talk to God  :saywhat:

After years of use my wool, not just my bibbs but other items as well, I'll pass them down to at least one generation. I can't say that about my man made fiber items....like my 3rd generation wool rugs.

And its amazing how wool sheds dirt n mud...it just 'walks off'.

I bought Hidden Wolf before it became Grey Wolf back in 2000....and my pants n pull over still look brand new.

And buyer beware, don't get next to the campfire with the other fiber stuff.

I have the Natural Gear Winterceptor bibs and they are great.  Warm and quiet.  Mine just went through season number 14.
