Mammoth Widow
« on: March 31, 2008, 08:47:00 PM »
Hello all,  Just wanted to show a few pictures of a new Widow, a PAX in Bocote.  Had the men at Widow replace the standard pheonalic overlays with Mammoth ivory.  Wasn't real sure at first but it's starting to grow on me.  The color all blends, and this design shoots really well for me.  Enjoy, LF

Unreal! That's not helping me one little bit in my feeble attempt to ward-off the wiles of a PAX! Where'd you source the mammoth ivory?

I have resized my photos at the source, however something is not jiving yet.  Please bear with me.  The ivory is Siberian.  I also have North Sea mammoth, but obviously chose the most similar color for this bow.  Also I came up with some burnt orange mammoth that would be really nice looking on some orange cocobolo.  Just one new bow for now.  Thanks for all the nice complements, (good job Black Widow).  These photos will be resized soon.   Thanks.  LF

My set up is 54@28 with a full 30" draw.  I like the grizzly stik alaskans with 140 up front, cut to about 30.5".  Seems to fly good out of about everything I have 55 @ 28" and up.   Haven't bareshafted out of this bow yet, but will soon.  LF
