New bow day
« on: January 25, 2019, 11:08:23 PM »

My long awaited day has come. New bow came in today after ups lost the first one. For a foreign company i was extremely pleased with the communication and help with my purchase, also with how fast they were to send me a second bow after the first one was lost in the mail. Review will be posted after a few days of shooting. This is the Junxing f166 in all black, 64" 50#@28". I currently have the plastic flipper rest installed but will more than likely ve shooting it off the shelf. It came with a shelf plate plus 3 plate spacers to adjust center shot.

The review on that bow on YouTube is absolutely excellent. They say for the money it’s the best bang for your buck.It looks like it shoots really nice.I’m really curious what you think about it.

I love new bow days! I have one coming Monday.
That looks like a nice riser. I like me a good metal riser.
Enjoy the bow!

Got a chance to shoot a few shots today while taking the dog outside. I screwed in a homemade barebow weight and tied a nock set on (just a guess on location) so i could just see if it shoots. Needs a better string and rest setup but it puts the arrows together nicely. No crawl just high anchor and 6" gap for 18 yards, not in the center but grouped very nicely. I say for a 21" riser it feels very good. Should make for a great 3d and hunting setup.

im very pleased with it myself. Fit and finish is actually really nice and it sits well in the hand. Gonna get some loop side velcro for the shelf and play some with the adjustable side plate instead of a rest. Also need to twist up a new string for it but torn between dacron and fast flight so i may build one of each to see which feels better on it
