I may need a backup bowyer if things don't work out good here.

I have another trilam here that's already done, but it's 5# over what the recipient requested.

However these wood bows will lose 3 to 5 pound usually after about 400 shots.

Time will tell, as I'm still waiting to hear about MRI request to insurance company.

Been dealing with this lower back pain and spasms for 3 months now and it's gotten very old and depressing.

That sucks to hear Roy. 5# wouldn’t bother me at all.

Soy that looks good.

We’re in the middle of a soggy snow storm here so haven’t been to the barn to work today. Will be playing catch up tomorrow.

Hate to hear your hurtin bud.

5# wouldn’t bother me either. Also, if Dave can, or needs to do any shuffling.....I will pass on receiving a bow and still ship mine on behalf of Roy. Not that I wouldn’t love to have a bow from one of the great guys here. But that’s not why I got in the trade.

That sucks Roy, sorry to hear it. My right hip has been bothering me this winter. Finally decided I should start stretching again. It hurts so good :biglaugh: I'm hot to make an ELB, would not mind gifting it, either.
5lbs, no problem for me. One can only hope!

Thanks guys, much appreciated.

I've got 6 weeks till deadline plus this other bow here that's 5 pounds heavier.

Or I can forward the bow that Goodersan sent me, couple guys I'd love to send it too:)

And I've been told someone else is sending me a bow, prolly pink too.

So I'll cover my end of the bow swap one way or another.

x2 to all four sentences, especially on the first two. Roy, get better, but don't worry. 1 - you'll be fine once you learn to suck it up. 2 - even if you're not, you'll eventually get better and I'm sure your victim won't mind the wait. 3 - 5 pounds over will be fine for most guys here (it was +/- 5 lbs in the rules anyhow), especially once it breaks in a bit. 4 - if it really gets that bad, I'll make sure we get your victim taken care of.

Working on my first riser with those curvy mosaic inlays. Couldn't resist working pink into the bow, but I think this will actually be subdued enough that it will be ok...

My dad gave me a 6' curly koa board that he had in his cabinet shop for the last 40 years or so. I figure I can make about 6 bows worth of veneers out of it, think I'll start with my victim. If it works out, I can make a sister bow for Roy's victim...
