Ok, all the names should be out. But I swear I caught myself going cross-eyed a couple times so if you find something that doesn't make sense when stalking your victim let me know. Especially if they requested glass and you only build wood or something.

Otherwise, let the good times and pink bows roll!

Ya know, I was just drawing names and filling in the spreadsheet and didn't even really digest who my victim was until just now. There's opportunity here for sure...

those are both really nice set of lams. If I were building a bow out those, I think pairing the top with a nice piece of myrtle and black accents would be the bomb.

For the bottom, its wide open. A nice piece of bocote, cocobolo or even charcoal dymondwood would really stop the train. you wouldn't even need accents with that stuff.

I have no idea what I 'm doing yet. If this trade is supposed to be forging new trails, then I'm looking at a tri-lam ala the wizard Mr. Roy himself or I have even thought of getting plans off of Kenny and wading into the short longbow territory. I have always thought that anything shorter than 64" shouldn't be called a longbow but hey, I'm not the only guy on the planet either. last year, Shred sent me one of his 62" 42# bows. I took that thing out deer hunting and it was a pleasure to have in my stand.

It’s too dang cold and windy to hunt. 🥶

So I’m pondering what to build my victim.  :help:
I can do anywhere from 54-60” R/D longbow. I have some black walnut riser wood and lams. I could pair them up with something. Maybe some curly maple? Osage? Hmmm
