Ok take down enthusiasts, it's time to play the ever popular game, The Education of Skeaterbait. So first off let's bear in mind the nature of the swap is to push our own limits and challenge ourselves (short walk there for me), so here's my conundrum:
My trade bow is almost done, it looks great, shoots fantastic (I hate to see it go) and it's quiet with the exception of a popping at the limb pads. I have chased it down and can make it stop by putting a bit of paper towel on the pads when I bolt the limbs on. Obviously that won't fly for my victim, except that it truly makes them a victim, so how do I get the limb bolts? pins? pads? to quit popping when the bow is drawn back?
