Coming from Louisiana,  it would be awesome if there was still some snow hanging around.

I'd like to attend the High Country shoot this year with TradArchers' World magazine. How do I register/sign up?

Tom,
You can go here http://colotradarchers.com/annual-high-country-shoot-2/ and get the registration form.  Otherwise, look on the CTAS website and look for contact information for the board and you should be able to narrow down who you want to contact (general registration or vendor).  Hope this helps

I'm told the snow is still 2 ft. deep at the site.  Is there an alternate in case it is impassable do to mud/ice/snow?

We have an alternate site at a slightly lower elevation. It is looking warm and dry for awhile so hopefully we will be good to go.

The snow is mostly gone, still some snow in the shady areas, just still wet and muddy but should be dried out in two weeks. With all the moisture it may be a bad mosquito year so bring spray.

Look forward to meeting you Ben (I am the guy that will be selling hats, shirts, etc most of the time). Scott, I would think campfires should be ok this year.

Just pre-registered myself...looking forward to it.  Missed last year ans wasn’t about to let that happen again

Bringing a new traditional convert too, so it should get him extra hooked

Save a couple rounds for me Mark!

Glad you are going to make it Jake. What is left of the snow is coming off fast. Still some big mud holes that may limit some camping. Hopefully more drying this week.

The wife and I made it to Colorado today. Going to do a little sightseeing and a little scouting for the next few days. We should be at the shoot by Thursday morning.

Well after all the work putting the shoot together and setting up, Mother Nature sent us a summer snow storm (snowed for three days). It definitely put a damper on the shoot.
