What is the best way to refinish a bow that has bubbles in the lamination and peeling. Thanks.

I 2nd that website.
I believe you need to carefully sand off all the bad finish, and refinish it.

you will for sure what to get all the old finish off.Or your new finish won't stick to well.I kinda like about 150 grit sand paper...Working from the limb risers to the tips...Just work slow and you will see when you get to the bare fiberglass,as it will be very dull looking, and the sound of the sanding will change,as the fiberglass is pretty smooth....hope this helps...bowdoc

Hey Bowdoc,
I know that you earn part(or all) your living refinishing/restoring bows and really respect you for posting helpful hints for those of us who are DIYers. Thanks for your kindness.
