Tapered aluminum arrows?

Wonder why Easton never made them.   Or maybe they did and I never realized?  Works for wood and carbon shafts.
This has been "Deep Thoughts" with Ratatat....

I recently acquired 4 dozen easton (bear) .312 shafts.  They are tapered from 5/16 down to 9/32.  Also lots of vintage shafts like autumn oranges usually taper down a nock size.

A lot of the older Easton shafts that had glue on nocks would be tapered the last inch before the nock taper. Mostly the 22 and up shaft diams. Dont think they made a longer 6 to 8 inch taper like good wood shafts to help clear the arrow around the riser......... I think they had some really high end target arrows that were full length tapered but not sure as not in hunting spines so Ive never picked any up........

Bowhunting is "KILL and EAT" not "Catch and Release".....Semper Fi!
